LESSON 3: Some Mountains of the Bible: Using your Bible, answer the questions below about some of the mountains we find mentioned in the Bible.
1. There are four mountains mentioned in the area of Jerusalem. One is Mount Calvary or the Hill of Calvary, where Jesus was crucified and another is Mount Moriah where Soloman built the temple. Please name the other two.
2. Mount Calvary was really only a small hill, about 14 feet high. From reading verses from the four gospels (Matthew 27:33, Mark 15:22, Luke 23:33, and John 19:17) and your own observations, tell in your own words what this hill of Calvary means to you.
